Imperial College of Trades (ICT) is proud of being the first private institute to deliver nationally recognized horticulture courses for international students in Adelaide, South Australia. ICT is a Registered Training Organisation and meets administrative, delivery, staffing, facility, marketing, financial, quality assurance and assessment standards agreed to by the Federal, State and Territory Governments in Australia. The State Government registering authority monitors and subjects us to regular external audits to verify adherence to these standards.

Career prospects
South Australia has particular advantage for horticulture students, as the Adelaide plains offer a diverse range of training environment, which includes high density protected farming and a range of field crops using latest technology. The skills and knowledge gained from these courses are in high demand in the horticultural industry.

Imperial Students Club (ISC)
The students enrolled with ICT automatically becomes members of ISC. The club provides a platform to the students to participate in and develop professional and leadership qualities by honing their skills through frequent training/information sessions, debates, cultural shows and competitions. The club also celebrates important international, national and cultural events.

CAMPUS AND FACLITIES
Campus location: ICT is located at 1/58 Sheriff Street, Underdale, South Australia, 5032. It is well connected by road and the bus service is at 15 minute intervals. The nearest bus stop is stand No 11 which is on Ashley Street and is 5 minutes walk to the college campus. In addition, ICT has over 20 car parking spaces, available on first come first serve basis. The classrooms for training and demonstration, two computer labs, practical training and assessment facility and administration office of ICT are at this location.

Classrooms and computer labs:  : ICT has well equipped classrooms and two computer labs having the latest teaching aids and equipments, offering unlimited and free internet access, small group study room, library and demonstration room etc. The indoor area has the cooling and heating equipment installed.
Other facilities: Further, ICT provides to its students and staff a spacious recreational area, with limited indoor games and recreational facilities, and a small kitchenette with clean drinking water, adequate cooking facilities and dining area.

Practical Training and Assessment: The practical training and assessment is conducted at various other locations away from main campus depending upon the competency unit and tasks to be taught/ assessed. The Director Academic decides the location and the students are informed by their trainers well in advance. ICT organizes transport for students to and from the practical training and assessment sites horticulture/ nursery training facilities.
